Despite my broad interest, I specialize in philosophy of science—both general and particular—and aesthetics.

And yes, that's my own drawing of myself.

I like thinking about big questions like:

"How great would it be if we could make all marginalized knowledge systems as useful and legitimate as the dominant science?".

However, I want my claims to be pragmatic. historically informed, and culturally sensitive.

That's why I strive to learn more about history and sociology of science, not just philosophy.

I also believe in the power of the beautiful—I think aesthetics can shine when ethics alone fails to move people's hearts.

That's where my interest in aesthetics seems to come from.

From keeping breathtaking nature intact to critically assessing the influence of new technology on the integrity of our values—I think aesthetics can help us contemplate many philosophical problems.

I'm excited to see where these thoughts will lead me to.

And if you vibe with my thoughts, I would love to hear more about what you think!

I love the aesthetics of the grotesque! These are likewise my own drawings.
